Timeline of Results
Patients usually feel minimal or no pain, and can return to work the
very next day. Within 6 months of the procedure, the transplanted
hair can be groomed and combed in any fashion you like.
- Hair Transplantation is a surgical
process of allocating donor hairs from the back of the head to
the balding area.
- Results of Hair Transplantation depend
on the amount of donor hair available.
- Because Hair Transplantation is simply moving hair from one
area to another, it does not increase the total number of hairs
on the scalp, nor help existing hair to grow.
After the surgery is complete, the results should appear within the
next couple months. This time chart depicts the growing cycle of the
newly transplanted hair after the surgery.
