Female Hair Transplant

I am a 29 years old female and have been losing my hair in the crown area for about 2 years. Being a woman, it really bothers me that I can see my scalp in the thinning area. I have tried so many products for thinning hair, such as Tricomin shampoo or Rogaine, but none of those products helped. So, I turned to hair transplant and have done a lot of research on this process. It surprised me how the procedure has progressed and how natural the transplanted hair looks. There are many institutions that provide this procedure, thus it was difficult to choose a doctor that would provide the best experience for me. I went to about 3 different consultations, but was discouraged when I found out how much the procedure cost or the doctor was not comfortable doing the procedure on me. Looking on the Internet, I saw Dr. Chang’s website (www.hairtransplant.com), where he was having a twelve year anniversary special. Browsing through the picture gallery, I was happy to see a section on women who had the procedure done; they looked a lot like me.

I did an online consultation on the website and a reply was sent back to me right away, answering my questions and a quote on how many grafts I may need and the cost. I then phoned Dr. Chang’s office to set a schedule for the consultation and procedure at the same time because I am out of state. From the time of the phone call to the end of the procedure, I was treated courteously and openly; I didn’t feel embarrassed. Dr. Chang was very understanding to my needs and helped me work out a plan where I can afford the procedure. His staff was very friendly and caring. The office is located in a beautiful area and the atmosphere was warm and clean. During the procedure I was able to watch a movie or music videos, which helped me relax. The procedure went smoothly with little discomfort. After the procedure, the receptionist took time to go over the post-operatory instructions with me and made sure I understood what I was supposed to do. I am grateful to Dr. Chang and his staff.
