Male Pattern Baldness Type 2

Case 1

The frontal temporal region (which is the left and right sides of the front of the hairline) had 370 grafts transplanted on 4/26/96. The bottom row of pictures were taken 5 months later when he came back for his post operation checkup. The transplanted hair took 3 to 4 months to grow out. After that, the growth rate was 1/2 and inch per month (similar to the growth rate of hair located at the back of the head.)

Generally speaking, during the first five months after your surgery, the new hair will only grow around 1/2 to 1 inch.
