Dr. Steven C. Chang
Founded Natural Hair Transplant Medical Center in 1993 and has dedicated over 30 years exclusively to advancing hair restoration.

​Based on his extensive training at leading hair restoration centers worldwide, experience and active participation in the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), Dr. Chang has refined both FUT and FUE techniques to exceptional levels. As both a practitioner and educator, he has trained surgeons globally while maintaining his personal commitment to performing surgical procedure at NHT Medical Center—ensuring each patient benefits directly from his expertise and innovations.​​

Dr. Michael L. Chang
Dr. Michael Chang, D.O. is a board-certified physician with 15 years of hair restoration experience, having trained under his father, Dr. Steven Chang, since his undergraduate studies at UC Irvine. After serving as Chief Resident at White Memorial Medical Center, he has dedicated seven years to hair transplant surgery. As an International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery associate member, Dr. Michael combines proven surgical techniques with advanced technology to deliver natural, dense results while prioritizing cost-effective treatment planning that maximizes long-term value for patients.

Each technician undergoes rigorous training and screening, including the O'Connor Tweezer Dexterity Test—a standardized eye-hand coordination assessment that measures the fine motor skills essential for delicate graft handling. Candidates must complete this test in under four minutes and thirty seconds to qualify for our team.
Atsuko Chang serves as our Quality Control Director and Lead Technician Trainer. With over twenty-one years of experience since co-founding the clinic with Dr. Chang, she brings unparalleled expertise to every procedure. Atsuko has traveled to leading hair transplant centers worldwide and attended fifteen International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) annual meetings, continuously advancing her knowledge of the latest techniques. During each procedure, she remains in the surgical suite, overseeing quality control and ensuring every graft meets our exacting standards. As a practice owner, her personal investment in surgical excellence ensures the highest level of care for every patient.
